Sugaring is an ancient Egyptian hair removal technique that uses a sugar paste to extract unwanted hairs. The pasts consists of sugar, water and lemon! We apply the sugar paste against the natural direction of hair growth and then uses a gentle flicking motion to remove hair in the natural direction of the hair growth.

For best results we recommend that hair is at least the length of a rice grain. This would be about 14 days since your last shave or 1 month since your last sugaring or waxing session.

We use a sugar ball to remove the hair — it is applied against the growth but removed in the direction of hair growth, reducing ingrown hair production. Wax is applied with the growth and removed against the growth. IF not done properly, may lead to ingrown hairs.
Sugaring doesn’t require sticks or strips, so there is no risk of cross contamination. Each sugar ball paste is only used for one client and discarded after the single use.
Lastly, we keep our sugar warmed to body temperature (98 degrees), unlike wax which is often heated to higher temperatures and poses the risk of a burn. -
Menstruating does not affect the sugaring process, however, it will make you more sensitive pre and post cycle. If you want to get sugared during menstruation, we require that you use a tampon, disc or cup during your sugaring session. If you cannot wear anything, we will need to reschedule your bikini service.
